KIDS PROGRAMS

I Am Series

Join us once a month to learn about history! Each month there will be a new theme to explore. The Museum runs two sessions per month one in the morning from 10:30 to 11:30 am or 1:00 to 2:00 pm. During this hour we learn about history through games, crafts, stories and activities related to that month’s theme. Registration is required for all I Am Series.

Young Historical Society

The Museum provides a safe space for children to come to after a busy day of school. The Young Historical Society meets the first and third Tuesday of the school year from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Each day there will be a different theme to discover. Registration is required.

No School Day Workshops

No school, no problem! During the school year the Museum host different workshops that promotes learning about history in an engaging way. Parents have the choice of sending their child to the Museum for half the day (9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 to 4:00 pm) or for the full day (9:00 am to 4 pm). We ask parents to provide a morning and afternoon snack as well as a lunch (if staying for the full day), which is nut and peanut-free. Registration is required.

Little Historians

Come and learn about history together as a family. Once a month the Museum hosts Little Historians for children ages 2-4 to learn about history and participate in a craft. Parents participation is required. The program runs from 9:30-10:00 am and registration is required.
