What are the costs associated with a research request?
Standard research inquiries are billed at $20 per hour, prorated to the nearest quarter-hour. Rush inquiries are billed at $40 per hour. Additional fees may apply for photocopies and scans.
Are there any free research services?
Yes, in-person use of our research library is free, but it must be supervised by Museum staff. Additionally, you are allowed one free inquiry per year, limited to 10 minutes.
How long does it take to process a research request?
The processing time for a research request varies depending on the complexity and volume of the request. Standard inquiries are typically handled within a few days, while rush inquiries are prioritized and processed faster.
Can I request copies of documents or images?
Yes, you can request photocopies or scans of documents and images. Black and white copies are $0.50 per page, color copies are $1.50 per page, and scans are $1.00 per page.
